Tomorrow my little boy turns 4…I can hardly believe it! He will have a special day in school and gets to bring in a special treat. I love to cook – especially sweet treats – but couldn’t decide what I wanted to make for him. A blog I follow, a thousand words, just released a very timely recipe e-book. OMG! The recipes look amazing! I can’t wait to try them all! For his treat we decided on the “Classic Sugar Cookie” recipe.
The recipe was very easy and kid friendly. My 3 -um- 4 year old loves to “help” and he had a great time adding ingredients, rolling the dough and cutting out shapes. We used butterfly and star cut outs per his request. 
I’ve tried a few sugar cookie recipes before and by far these were the tastiest! The dough was super easy to work with and baked perfectly.
