4 Quick Ways to Promote Your Website

I thought it would be helpful to put together some quick tips for promoting your website. Whether you are starting out with a new site or have an existing one, I hope you find these helpful!

1. Share It!

Tell everyone you know about your website! Share your link in your email signature, post the link on your social media sites, add it to your marketing materials (business card, promotional materials, etc.) and tell everyone you meet. :)

2. Online Directories

There are many places on the web these days for your potential clients to find you.. if you have a yellow page listing, google place page, yahoo local listing, etc be sure to add your business & web address there. Also, look into trade specific directories online that you can add your website link to as well!

 3. Search Engines

If your site is brand new you’ll want to make sure the search engines can find it. You can add your site to the popular ones (Google, Bing, etc.) to make sure the search engines crawl it. Also, be sure to include keyword friendly content on your site!

4. Links

Have others post links to your site!. You can do link exchanges with other businesses or bloggers. This is especially helpful if you share the same target market.

Higher Good Readings {Blog-site Customization & Design} Harford, Bel Air, MD

I just finished working with Tiffany Chalmers of Higher Good Readings creating her personalized blog-site design! Tiffany is an intuitive medium and wanted a blog-site to share topics of the week, her services and upcoming events! She will be teaching a local intuitive development class in Bel Air and I highly recommend checking it out! You can view her new site at www.highergoodreadings.com

You may recognize my image used in the site header! I think it worked perfectly with the overall feel of the site! Congratulations on your new site Tiffany! It was a pleasure working with you!

On the Wall!

You may have seen me post this last week on Facebook, but I wanted to post it here on my website as well! This is a fantastic visual regarding print sizes. Look at the difference! I consider print sizes 8×10 and smaller “desk prints” and as you can see here they get pretty lost up on a wall! Larger prints make such a impact and are perfect for your family portrait to be displayed front and center in your living room!
