The arrival of a brand new baby is a time full of excitement and joy. I always love newborn sessions as I get to share in these feelings for a short time and be surrounded by the love of a sweet new family. This family was no exception and the love surrounding Baby E is pure magical.

I was so excited when I arrived at their home to find that mom had many blankets, outfits and personal items to include in their session. I always prefer to use the family’s personal things as they have much more meaning than anything I could provide.

Baby E’s room is decorated in a Dr Suess theme and see that wall in the background above? His mommy and daddy lovingly (&patiently!) painted that argyle pattern! It is AMAZING!

The shot above was the very first image I captured. Baby E looks so handsome in the knit hat his mommy made!

Sweet Baby G {Baltimore County, MD Newborn Photographer}

Meet Baby G! At just 2 weeks new he was very alert during our session! This first image is of him in his Daddy’s guitar case!

He was the most content in Mommy or Daddy’s arms…

But, he did finally take a nap for me!

A big congratulations to the K family on their precious new bundle of joy!

what a difference a year makes! {Child & Family Portraits}

This was the fourth time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family! The first time was when little L was just 15 months, then 1 year later when mom was expecting baby G and then when baby G arrived! Now, another year later little L has grown into such a young man and baby G is an absolutely beautiful little birthday girl!

Last year I captured one of my favorite images to date, little L kissing his brand new baby sister! This year he helped her eat (and smash!) her birthday cake! These kids are just the cutest and I could photograph them all day!
